Gracias Gonzalo11… no era eso. Pero está bien que lo recordaras. He descubierto lo que ocurria:

1º el navegador ha de ser identificable como "blackberry" (como tu decias)… OK

2º descarga + instalación… OK

3º atención!! paso a copiar la solución de la misma página de Viigo:

Installing Viigo

The beta versions of Viigo run on OS 4.1 or later.

To install Viigo:

1) From your device, go to http://getviigo.com in your mobile browser.

2) On Viigo’s mobile download page, click the Download button.

A progress bar appears and Viigo begins to download. (This process will take approximately 60 seconds.)

3) When prompted, reboot your device. When your device reboots you will see a Viigo icon on your main screen.

Note: You will only be prompted to reboot if you had Viigo installed on your device when you upgraded.

4) Click the icon to launch Viigo.

5) Read the Agreement form that appears and then click the I Agree button.

AHÍ ESTAVA!!!!! reeiniciar ANTES de tocar para nada la instalación!

Es decir: descargar e inmediatamente reeiniciar.

Tema resuelto y Viigo funcionando a la perfección.
